CTDL Advisory Group Announcement

Various advisory and task groups have provided input to develop, refine, and expand the Credential Transparency Description Language (CTDL) prior to and since its initial release in January 2016. Suffice it to say, Credential Engine and the CTDL have substantially evolved since 2016. To reinforce our practice of evolving through transparent and open development of the CTDL, Credential Engine is forming a CTDL Advisory Group (CAG). The CAG evolves out of Credential Engine’s “Technical Advisory Group” which was intently focused on the early stages of the development of CTDL. This group will be composed of both a core group of leading experts in areas that are critical to powering talent ecosystems’ data internationally, and open participation. Scheduled meetings are open to any interested persons who want to stay current on and contribute to CTDL developments, awareness, integrations, alignments, and adoption. The first action for this Group is to provide input to and approve the draft CAG Charter.

What is it: Open Participation with CTDL Advisory Group Meetings

Why participate: These meetings will provide important updates on CTDL developments and opportunities to provide input to planning, expanding, and global positioning of CTDL to help power data for talent ecosystems.

Who should participate: Persons interested in improving talent ecosystems’ data by contributing towards CTDL developments and adoption within the frame of linked, open, interoperable data.

Schedule: Meetings are bi-monthly (6 meetings per year): Proposed meeting Times: 7:30 am PT 8:30 am MT / 9:30 am CT / 10:30 am ET / 3:30 pm UK see a complete list of the meeting time via World Clock. Exact times may adjust according to member preferences and availability. Daylight savings time changes can impact the meeting time.

Where does it happen: Meetings are held virtually via Zoom.

Registration: To join these meetings, please register and save the meeting information on your calendar. Registrations will be used by the Credential Engine team to communicate about upcoming meetings and to provide related materials, and other information directly related to the CAG.
